Abstract:

Today, in order to reduce the harmful effects of organizations, there are growing pressures on the establishment of a Green management system. To be successful, a Green management system should not ignore the vital role of human Behaviors in “ Green” processes and has to promote such environmental Behaviors. This study is aimed to identify and rank factors affecting the Green Behavior of Employees in order to introduce effective factors in strengthening environmental Behaviors in the workplace. Regarding the purpose, this research is an applicable one and in terms of data collection it is a descriptive survey type. The statistical population consisted of senior managers of the ICT industry with a history of human resource activities. By reviewing the literature on Employees Green Behaviors and using experts' opinions using Fuzzy Delphi technique, 15 factors influencing the Employees Green Behaviors were identified and categorized in four groups: normative factors [value], informational factors, management and support factors and environmental factors. Finally, these factors were ranked using the DANP technique. The results showed that the managerial and financial factors with the weight of 0. 3569 were first, the normative [value] factors with the weight of 0. 2481 ranked as second, the information factors with the weight of 0. 1989 were the third and the environmental factors with the weight of 0. 1961 ranked as fourth important factors.

Abstract:

1. Introduction Organizations need to manage their business activities and Behaviors in such a way as to maximize the positive and minimize the negative consequences of their activities, trying to protect the environment and use natural resources more effectively. Therefore, corporate social responsibility is a sensitive issue and a critical factor in the survival of any organization. In addition to performing their traditional duties, today's organizations and institutions are obliged to perform some other activities referred to as the organization's social responsibility, which means being responsible towards society's expectations. In this regard, the municipality is an organization with a significant role in solving environmental and social problems and improving the quality of urban life. The Employees' trust in an organization is one of the outcomes of social exchange processes derived from social responsibility, which in turn leads to the Employees' Green Behaviors within their relevant organization, i. e., sustainable and environmentally friendly Behaviors. In fact, people who consider themselves responsible towards the environment perform positive and environmentally friendly Behaviors. 2. Theoretical Principles Intense competition, population growth, scarcity of resources, air pollution, and many other environmental issues and problems have led to the development of new approaches to organizations and management, including commitment and social responsibility. Social responsibility refers to a set of activities voluntarily performed by organizations and enterprises as effective and useful members of society. In other words, the responsibilities of organizations are not limited to maximizing their own profits and economic return but include social services and all aspects of the environment. Moreover, the organization's social responsibility refers to the commitment of businesses to contribute to the sustainable economic development of Employees, customers, local communities, and society to improve life quality. Thus, the social responsibility of any firm results from the following four components: economic needs, observance of general rules and regulations, observance of business ethics, and humanitarian responsibilities. Recently, the Greenness of industries An interface is defined by the Microsoft Computer Glossary as either the point at which a connection is made between two elements so that they can work together, or software that enables an application to work with a user, another application such as an operating system, or computer hardware. The user interface can be an interface, a command line, a menu, or a graphical interface. Moreover, the user interface is the visible and graphic part of the software that a user directly deals with. It should also be noted that the poor design of the interface increases the user's stress and make him/her commit mistakes, and become confused and embarrassed. Therefore, the user interface should be designed in such a way that can easily be used by both expert and general users. For a design team to have the best performance, it is necessary to present a storyboard of the whole design at the very beginning of the project, designed as a wireframe to be used as a product drawing and a tool for easily predicting and designing the related parts. Moreover, the strengths and weaknesses of the project can be examined based on this initial structure. This kind of performance can be very effective in reducing costs, increasing the percentage of the product's reliability, and increasing the chances for success in initial tests. Today, there are various sources of information to be used by people. However, if these resources are not easy to use, they will be removed from the information circle over time. Therefore, the user interface tries to simplify the use of software for users by providing a suitable template and structure (taken from old information sources), considering such factors as speed, precision, and appropriate time. Similar to the creation of a general structure for the product's Behavior in the context of interaction, a parallel process based on the visual and industrial design of a form regarding the product's Behavior is also considered for the preparation of a precise design unless the designer works according to a pre-defined visual style. Design styles for applications include material design, flat design, and Skeuomorphism. 3. Methodology This is a descriptive-analytical study using library research to collect the required data by reviewing valuable library and online resources. The statistical population of the study comprised 10 samples of Iranian-cultural Mobile phone applications, developers (or teams of application developers), and software designers selected via census sampling method. The collected data were analyzed via qualitative and quantitative analysis. 4. Conclusions and Suggestions This study sought to investigate a number of Iranian cultural applications in terms of the graphic design of applications' interfaces. To this end, 10 applications were examined in terms of design style and visual characteristics such as composition, color, text, images, and their characteristics. According to the obtained results, it can be argued that developers mostly tend to design the applications' interfaces based on the flat style. Moreover, it was found that due to the special hardware of the cellphones that can run the programs faster, developers mostly designed their intended applications in an integrated way in combination with the material design style. Furthermore, the applications were found to have been designed based on a specific configuration, and in most cases, in a similar way. However, it should be noted that developers prefer a single model that has been tried and accepted by the public and they do not try to risk using a different design. Nonetheless, in some cases such as the Green Book program where the boundary between the grades is unclear and there is a lot of white space in the work, the issue of the positive and negative spaces and its effectiveness discussed in this research, can be considered in their design. Most of such applications had been designed in a rectangular shape with horizontal and vertical scrolls. In addition, the scroll bar had been more or less included in the design of almost all the applications based on user experience and the segmentations made in the interactive design. It should be noted that a proper scroll bar on the application's interface obviates the user's need to move to different pages and that it is highly important for the developers to adhere to the designing rules.

Abstract:

With increasing environmental concerns from consumers, governments and communities around the world and organizations have sought to develop environmentally friendly programs such as Green service and product development, Green Behavior and Green technology. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of IoT, Green shopping intention and Green operations on Green Behavior of Employees in the hotel industry (Case study: Hayat Shargh Apartment Hotel). The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlation in terms of implementation method. The statistical population of this study was all Employees of Hayat Shargh Apartment Hotel, whose number is 100 people. The statistical sample was calculated using Morgan table, 80 people and the random sampling method was simple. In order to collect data, Basana et al (2021) questionnaire was used. In order to determine the validity of the questionnaires, content validity and professors' approval., construct validity, convergent and divergent were used and the reliability of the questionnaires was assessed and confirmed using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. In this research, structural equation modeling methods using PLS software have been used to analyze the data. The results showed that the Internet of Things has a significant effect on Green operations and Green Behavior of Employees. The intention to buy Green also had a significant effect on Green operations and Green Behavior of Employees. But the impact of Green operations on staff Green Behavior was not confirmed. 1. IntroductionWith increasing environmental concerns from consumers, governments and communities around the world and organizations have sought to develop environmentally friendly programs such as Green service and product development, Green Behavior and Green technology. Another effective factor in the Green Behavior of hotel Employees is the use of the Internet of Things. Today, the world's most prestigious hotels have implemented Green concepts with the smart management of Green hotels. These hotels have started implementing environmentally friendly business operations, efficient use of electricity, maintaining air quality around the hotels, more effective use of water and energy, and establishing a waste management system. In the hotel industry, electricity consumption is the most energy consuming, so some hotels have implemented the Internet of Things to control lighting and air temperature. The use of the Internet of Things can increase the Green hospitality that governments have focused on. Hotels are among the businesses that have joined the group of applicants for legitimacy in their business environment. According to the mentioned contents, it seems that by acting responsibly in front of the society and the environment, hotels can achieve a competitive advantage of differentiation and cost leadership, and finally, a profitable financial performance through human resources aware of environmental issues. Therefore, considering the importance of hotel management in the perspective of the tourism industry, hoteliers should ensure that the formulation and implementation of environmental policies, while legitimizing their business activity in the society, will also improve financial performance and profitability. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of IoT, Green shopping intention and Green operations on Green Behavior of Employees in the hotel industry in Hayat Shargh Apartment Hotel in Mashhad.2. Literature ReviewThe World Telecommunication Union defines the Internet of Things as: "a global infrastructure for the information society that enables improved services by connecting forms (physical and virtual) based on existing and evolving compatible information and communication technologies". In short, the Internet of Things is a network of interconnected devices, systems and services within the Internet infrastructure. The main core of the concept of the Internet of Things is in creating the possibility of connection for all objects and the communication between devices and objects, which leads to the direct integration between the physical world and computer systems. The intention to buy Green products is "the possibility and desire of a person to obtain products that are compatible with the environment". Researchers found that Green purchase intention is a noteworthy predictor of Green purchase Behavior.Green operation is the result of the commitment of the management and Employees to carry out hotel activities with respect to the environment. Green operations are doing activities by purchasing needed products or environmentally friendly materials. Green operation refers to the hotel's daily activities to serve customers. All products and services that have environmental responsibility must work well; Otherwise they are not valuable. Therefore, as much as the guests are satisfied with the services and conventional methods, they should also be satisfied with the Green features in the hotel. The Greenness of the hotel is not implemented only for one part of the hotel. The wrong assumption of the majority is that Green products are necessarily expensive and costly. Many products and methods of environmental responsibility can be purchased at a low and very economical cost; Especially if the cost spent is used for a long period (some products may be expensive at first, but over time they can compensate for the initial cost with good performance and low energy consumption). As a result, the Greenness of the hotel is not necessarily a completed stage or condition, but the process of upgrading and improving conditions is a continuous process. The Green Behaviors of Employees show their scalable actions and Behaviors in relation to environmental sustainability. The Green Behavior of Employees means: any individual Behavior that can be measured in the context of the work environment, which helps to achieve the goals related to environmental sustainability or hinders the achievement of those goals. Organizational Green Behavior is the desire and motivation of Employees to go beyond the formal requirements of the job in order to help each other, align individual interests with organizational interests, and have real interests in the activities and overall missions of the organization. Environmental Behavior is a type of Behavior that constantly seeks to reduce the negative effect of people's actions on the natural and man-made environment. 3. MethodologyThe present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlation in terms of implementation method. The statistical population of this study was all Employees of Hayat Shargh Apartment Hotel, whose number is 100 people. The statistical sample was calculated using Morgan table, 80 people and the random sampling method was simple. In order to collect data, Basana et al (2021) questionnaire was used. Using the Internet of Things with 4 questions, Green purchase intention with 4 questions, Green operation with 4 questions and finally the Green Behavior of Employees with 3 questions were measured. In order to determine the validity of the questionnaires, content validity and the expert’s approval., construct validity, convergent and divergent were used and the reliability of the questionnaires was assessed and confirmed using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The validity and reliability of the research instrument was confirmed. In this research, structural equation modeling methods using PLS software have been used to analyze the data.4. ResultsThe respondents were the Employees of Hayat Hotel in Sharq city of Mashhad, who were mostly male, aged 30-40, and had bachelor's degrees. The statistical results showed that the value of Q2 about the endogenous structures of the research model and for the structures of the Internet of Things, the Green Behavior of Employees, the Green operations of Employees, and the Green purchase intention is more than 0.35; Therefore, the model has good predictive power. To check the fit of the structural model, check the coefficients of determination related to the endogenous (dependent) component variables of the model. This criterion is used to connect the measurement part and the structural part of structural equation modeling and it shows the effect of an exogenous variable on an endogenous variable. It should be noted that R2 values are calculated only for the endogenous (dependent) structures of the model, and for exogenous structures, the value of this criterion is zero. The results show that the coefficient of determination for all structures is more than 0.5; Therefore, it indicates the appropriate fit of the model. The results of structural equation modeling showed that out of 5 research hypotheses, the first four hypotheses were confirmed. The results showed that the Internet of Things has a significant effect on Green operations and Green Behavior of Employees. The intention to buy Green also had a significant effect on Green operations and Green Behavior of Employees. But the impact of Green operations on staff Green Behavior was not confirmed.5. ConclusionBased on the first hypothesis, the Internet of Things, with the connection it establishes between all objects and devices, creates a set of Green operations and Behaviors for consumers. The Green operations of consumers and their usual points of contact are recorded through smart devices that enable people to carry out their work and operations without damage and environmental damage. Based on second hypothesis, Green purchasing means adding environmental aspects to criteria such as price and efficiency when making purchasing decisions, with the ultimate goal of reducing the environmental impact of sourcing and increasing resource efficiency; Therefore, when hotels give priority to purchase products and services that cause the least damage to the environment and human health and seek to purchase Green products for the hotel, this will also be effective on Green hotel operations and cause optimal use of products. And saving energy consumption and less damage to the environment. In explaining third hypotheses, Green Behaviors can be strengthened and encouraged in Employees through the Internet of Things. The Internet of Things enables communication and interaction between different objects and systems, which together produce information in the form of events or land data, such as the temperature of goods, their location, and traffic data, and by saving energy and reducing damage to the environment, it also strengthens Green Behaviors. According to the fourth hypothesis, Green purchase intention in hotel management is the desire or possibility to buy and prefer environment-friendly goods over traditional goods and environment-friendly Behavior that hotel officials show to show their concern for the environment and can also affect the Green Behavior of Employees. The result of the fifth hypothesis showed that Green operations do not have a significant effect on the Green Behavior of Employees. According to the statistical data, it is not significant; That is, Green operation does not have a positive and significant effect on the Green Behavior of Employees. The results are not consistent with the results of previous research due to the difference in the statistical community.

Abstract:

Nowadays cities benefit from two geographical (natural, social, and economical environments) and artificial (man-made environment, and architecture) symbols. Mankind has always been trying to change these two symbols for the sake of his daily activities or earning his life and establishing a dwelling both as an interest and as a shelter. During this process Green areas, jungles, and gardens have been changed into skyscrapers and buildings. Bricks, cement, and metallic plates have replaced for attractive views of nature. Today’s citizens have a sad feeling while they see that they have fallen far from the beauties and quietness of nature. To solve this problem, industrialists have developed the Green roof technology. Urban planners and architects use it as a ‘back to nature’ process. Green roof is a method to convert the rough, dry, and cold parts of the city into Green spots. Besides Green roofs can create micro-climatic zones which reduce pollution and improve the living conditions of the citizens. This process is highly advantageous for cities like Tehran which is located in a 730 sq. km. of land delimited by mountains and deserts.67.9 percent of the city is occupied by buildings and about thirteen million people live in this city. Green roofs are good means for reducing these problems of Tehran.

Abstract:

This study aimed at investigating the effect of transformational leadership and organizational identity on the Green Behavior of physical education teachers with the mediating role of well-being. A quantitative approach employing 176 respondents was applied and data were collected in West Azerbaijan, Iran. The results showed that transformational leadership and organizational identity positively affect physical education teachers’ well-being and their Green Behaviors. The findings further revealed that well-being does not influence Green Behavior and has no mediating role in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational identity with Green Behavior. The findings suggest that transformational leadership can be used as a medium to motivate Employees to adapt Green environmental Behaviors. The study offers both practical and theoretical implications.

Abstract:

The present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the factors and barriers affecting the development of Green Behavior among Employees in sports organizations in Iran. The research method was descriptive and meta-analytical. The statistical population included all sources published from 2011 to 2023. From among the statistical population, 20 studies that met the criteria for entering the meta-analysis were selected as research samples through the census method. The analysis of the collected data was done using CMA3 and SPSS software. The results of the meta-analysis showed that the combined effect size based on Cohen's D index for factors impacting the development of Green Behavior was d = 1.194 and for barriers, d = 1.229, both of which were considered large and significant. The results of Cochran's test and I-square showed high heterogeneity in the studies. Also, the results of the safe test of Rosenthal's error and funnel diagram showed no publication bias in the studies. Factors affecting the development of Green Behavior included management and organizational support, financial incentives, and management support for environmental Behaviors. Also, the results showed a lack of employee training, a lack of support for human resource management functions, and a lack of energy consumption management. It seems that aligning the human resources of the Ministry of Sports with the Green management strategy, continuous evaluation of the environmental performance of Employees, and reducing financial barriers to developing the Green Behavior of Employees in sports organizations are effective.
